During grade school, Hurricane Katrina devastated my home in the greater New Orleans metro area. Despite the widespread destruction, the community came together and helped each other. This was a pivotal moment in my life. I experienced firsthand the satisfaction that comes with helping those in need. Given my natural inclination towards science in combination with my focus on service toward others, it is not surprising I decided to pursue medicine as a career.
Because each patient has a unique story, I take an individualized approach to care and treatment. The best part of my job is helping patients overcome functional limitations and get back to doing the things they love whether that is hitting the slopes, hitting the trails, or just walking around the neighborhood.
Outside of medicine, I am energized by the beauty of Colorado. You can find me playing tennis with my wife or out on the hiking trails. I hope a winter in Colorado will also be a chance to improve my skiing!
