More Than Just Spine

The International Foundation for Sonography Education and Research (IFSER) honored Dr. Gronseth with its 2018 Humanitarian Service Award for his pro-bono efforts to bring ultrasound diagnostics to underserved areas. Thanks to his work with NYAGI in Nepal, health care workers there are saving 20 lives each month. After training nearly 30 Haitian physicians last summer, Dr. Gronseth will next go to Tanzania in 2020. Your tax-deductible donation will help save more lives. To learn more, go to

Spine West Medical Assistant Wins Bronze at Weightlifting Competition

Spine West Medical Assistant Rachel Roller won bronze in snatch, clean and jerk and total at the USA Weightlifting Under 25 Championships in Las Vegas. Rachel is an outstanding medical assistant for us and recently was accepted to the New York University School of Medicine.

Half Marathon - Conquered

Spine West staff - Dr. John Tobey, Griffin Tobey, and David Rodriguez, conquered The Dam Run Half Marathon in the coldest March day in Denver's history since 1880! The recorded high for the day was a balmy 6 degrees.

Dr. Cliff Gronseth selected as 2018 Humanitarian Service Award Winner

Spine West doctor and founder, Cliff Gronseth, was recently recognized with the IFSER 2018 Humanitarian Service Award for his work in the NYAGI Project. NYAGI – Now You Are the Group’s Interest – stands for the man, woman or child living in an impoverished area desperately in need of medical care. The NYAGI Project is a charitable organization dedicated to increasing diagnostic ultrasound use around the world. Their vision is to proactively save lives with ultrasound.

Colorado CF Cycle for Life 2017

Spine West Physician Assistant, Vaheed Sevvom will be participating for the third consecutive year in the CF Cycle For Life organized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year's race will be held August 26th in Highlands Ranch.
CF Cycle for Life is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's premier cycling event. Each year, thousands of cyclists gather in dozens of cities across the nation to take part in an exciting effort to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis.
