I found my passion for medicine while looking to forge a path no one else in my family had explored. I’ve always sought challenges and medicine was the most inspiring, hard career I could find.
Working with patients in Boulder County and Steamboat Springs means I get to work with a healthy, motivated patient population. Working with patients who truly want to get better and will do anything in their power to improve is so rewarding. I've treated 80-year-olds who are frustrated because back or knee pain is keeping them from climbing 14ers!
I am regularly inspired by the adaptability of people to perform in their sport or activities despite pain or disability and am grateful to be helping people acheive their goals.
Advice I often share with my patients of all ages is to keep moving and listen to your mom (of course), which means stand up straight!
When I’m not treating patients, I’m probably hiking, running or biking on Boulder or Routt County trails with my family - hope to see you out there!
