I wasn’t the kid who always wanted to be a doctor. In fact, I thought I’d become an engineer as I was always intrigued by science and math. But as my appreciation and interest in connecting with people deepened, medicine really made sense for me to pursue - and I’ve never looked back.
Helping people of all abilities stay active and engaged in their hobbies, sports and favorite activities is especially rewarding in Boulder where my patients are eager to stay healthy and get better. Motivated patients are great to work with and Colorado seems to be full of them!
Aside from working with patients to meet their mobility goals, I love hearing the interesting and sometimes surprising stories of people's lives. While patients may feel like they learn from me, I certainly feel like I learn an awful lot from my patients too.
Beyond the call of medicine, I’m often called to the mountains too! Biking and hiking are some of my favorite things to do - being outdoors in Colorado is definitely my happy place.
