  • Pain Counseling is offered Carol Cowley, a board-certified nurse practitioner, in collaboration with on-going medical evaluation and management of persistent pain conditions by a patient's Spine West provider(s). Pain Counseling services are available to established Spine West patients (e.g., those who have had at least one visit with one of Spine West's MD's or PAs in the last year). In-Office Imaging Services

  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses strong magnets to produce detailed images of the spine, bones, ligaments, muscles, and joints. Our in-office Open-Sided MRI is comfortable, convenient and cost-effective.

    LEARN MORE ABOUT MRI

  • Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive diagnostic tool that can harmlessly “see through the skin” in real-time to help diagnose problems with muscles, nerves, ligaments, and joints. It is also a great tool to ensure accurate injections into joints such as the knee, shoulder, or elbow. Our Spine West providers are experts in using ultrasound. Some teach ultrasound skills internationally.

  • X-rays help visualize bone fractures, joint arthritis and bone alignment issues. Fluoroscopy “C-Arm” technology is an advanced, “dynamic” X-ray machine used for advanced procedures and to assess joint instability. Both types of X-ray modalities are available in our office allowing for faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatments. In fact, our in-office fluoroscopy procedure suites are very unique, providing better, more efficient and cost-effective care for our patients.
